Born in Corfu, Greece.
He starts his music studies at the Philharmonic Society of Corfu and his first teacher is Ioannis Argalias.In 1986 he continues his studies in Athens in Orpheio Conservatory of Athens and he takes lessons by Evangellos Skouras. Duringthe same year he becomes a horn teacher at the Philharmonic Society of Loutraki.
Since 1987 and at the age of 19, he has already been a member of the National Opera Orchestra (ELS).In 1990, he receives his horn diploma with distinction.Since then, a career rich in experiences in the musical events of Greece and beyond begins.He is a key figure in the founding of the Orchestra of Colors with the late Manos Hadjidakis, with extensive activity in Greece and abroad.At the same time, he collaborates with the State Orchestra of Cyprus, the Symphony Orchestra of the E.R.T. and the Athens State Orchestra (KOA) in concerts in Greece and abroad (Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Bulgaria, Turkey, Austria, Hungary etc.). He also collaborates with the internationally famous singer Nadia Weinberg, he tours and gives concerts in various cities in America and Canada (New York, Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, Salt Lake City, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Detroit, Miami, Vancouver , Toronto, Montreal).He has collaborated with Yiannis Markopoulos, Dionysis Savvopoulos, George Dalaras and Ilias Andriopoulos in various concerts and recordings. With Mikis Theodorakis, he has appeared at the Sydney Opera House with the famous opus Zorbas.
For 5 years he has been a member of the famous band Mellos Brass. A milestone in his career was the concert in the Rotunda of the Washington Capitol in the USA during the ceremony of awarding the congressional gold medal to the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.As a soloist, he has performed with the Athens State Orchestra (KOA), theNational Opera Orchestra (ELS)he ELLS, the Symphony Orchestra of the Municipality of Athens, the Municipal Chamber Orchestra of Petroupoli, the State Orchestra of Thessaloniki, etc.
He has taken part in horn seminars in Greece and abroad with famous cornetists such as Francis Orval and Hector Macdonald. He has recorded music for theater and cinema as well as a soloist with ELS ,work released on CD. He is a member of the Hellenic Contemporary Music Group directed by Theodoros Antoniou.In 2001, he obtains a Diploma in Orchestration and Band Conducting with excellent marks from the Echo Conservatory, while at the same time he is principal musician at the Isthmian Philharmonic.From September 2003 to June 2007, he is principal musician of the Philharmonic of Loutraki, performing concerts all over Greece (Aegio, Schimatari, Thebes, Athens, Kalamata, Tolo, Filiatra, etc.) and abroad (Chicago).From 2007 to 2009 he is principal musician at the Philharmonic of the Municipality of Astypalaia.
Since 2019, he is the artistic director of the Chios Municipality Philharmonic. At the same time, he delivers monthly seminars to members and students of the Philharmonic on brass musical instruments.
