The Friends of Chios’ Philharmonic Assembly was created in the spring of 2022 by parents of students of the Municipality of Chios’ Philharmonic, aiming to support its cultural and more importantly its educational purpose.
From the get-go of its establishment, the assembly aspires to promote progress in the musical sections of the philharmonic’s work.
In this context, the assembly economically and supplementally supports the teachings of the musical instruments sectors which function in the philharmonic hall. The assembly has implemented a “Summer Music Camp” for children, sponsored by the Municipality of Chios, concerts and various other activities. Our last major goal is the first ever “Summer Music Academy”, with the prospect of its annual function as a musical institution.
