He was born in Corfu. He studied trumpet at the “Old Philharmonic” of his hometown with D. Kafiris. He continued his studies at the Pindarian Conservatory of Athens with Ger. Ioannidis. He also attended lessons in Sweden with Bo Nilsson, in Paris with Pierre Thibaud, participated in the Internationale Trompetentage – Bremen with famous teachers (Hickman, Plog) and has participated in chamber music ensembles. Since 1991 he holds the position of 1st trumpet in the National Orchestra of Lyric Stage.
