The “Chios’ Philharmonic Music Academy” was founded in 2023, and is dedicated to inspire and cultivate young musicians through a series of daily masterclasses, workshops, and concerts, guided by renowned musicians from our country and important teachers-soloists from abroad.
It is addressed towards young people, music lovers, and professionals. Offering high-quality lessons and musical activities, while simultaneously fostering a sense of musical professionalism, collaboration, and respect, enhancing dedication to the art.
With great joy we announce our five day “First Summer Music Academy”, brought to you by the Friends of Chios’ Philharmonic Assembly, which will take place on the 29th of July to the 2nd of August 2023, in the isle of Mastic, Chios.
The Summer Academy will be staffed with distinguished musicians of international recognition; Μembers of great orchestras from Greece and overseas, as well as members of the worldwide popular brass wind instrument musical band “Canadian Brass”, who will pass on their valuable knowledge to the participants in the course of high-grade lessons.
The Academy is aimed at music students, as well as members of philharmonics, of all ages and levels.
